Where can we eat nearby?

Trio Pizza in Blackville (8 min) has great pizza and fish & chips. Burke's Diner on Route 8 is famous for their hand-cut fries and comfort food. Both are local favorites!

What about river tubing?

You're in the perfect spot! Gallan's River Tubing (25 min) offers a 4-5 hour rapids run. Vickers River Tubing in Howard (20 min) is great for families. Both operate June-September.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes! We love dogs. The river bank is a great spot for them to play. We allow up to 2 pets.

How is the WiFi?

It's reliable and high-speed. Good enough for video calls or streaming movies.

Can we swim in the river?

Yes! There are stairs right down to the water. It's usually very clear and great for swimming.

Is the kitchen fully stocked?

Yes, it has a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and all the basic pots, pans, and utensils.

What about salmon fishing?

Country Haven Lodge is just 5 minutes down the road and offers world-class Atlantic salmon fishing with certified guides and access to 25+ private pools on the Miramichi.
